Job Description
The Documentation specialist is responsible for clerical duties related to the maintenance and updating of technical documentation.
Administers the updating of procedures based on redline changes provided by team members and administers the routing and approval of these changes in the electronic document management system.
Completes tracking, logging, updating and version control of technical documents according to business standards.
Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
Required Skills
- Proficient in the use of a personal computer with intermediate level of keyboarding skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Minimum Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent.
- 1 year of job-related experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Familiarity with SAP preferred.
- Familiarity with technical wording and documentation.
Knowledge/Skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are required.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to solve practical job-related problems or recognize the need to ask supervisor for assistance.
