Responsibilities

  • Writing and editing policies, standard operating procedures, and technical guides to provide clients with clear, concise, and accurate documentation.
  • Developing Air Force Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs), Technical Orders (TOs), Telecommunication Survey Installation Plans (TSIP), and Installation Plans (I-Plans).
  • Reviewing existing documents, assessing their accuracy and compliance, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Handling sensitive information, ensuring its security, and maintaining compliance with security regulations.
  • Managing multiple documents, versions, and revisions effectively, and meeting deadlines.
  • Maintaining familiarity with document management systems and relevant tools.
  • Creating visualizations required within documents: data flow, network diagrams, elevation diagrams, charts, graphs, etc.
  • Tracking documentation required for ATO process.
  • Working with various departments and stakeholders within the DoW to gather information and ensure that documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Ensuring that all documentation, whether paper or digital, meets DoW requirements and relevant regulations.

Requirements

  • Experience developing Air Force Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs), Technical Orders (TOs), Telecommunication Survey Installation Plans (TSIP), and Installation Plans (I-Plans).
  • Familiarity with AF time compliance technical orders (TCTOs and TOs) and TSIPs, telecommunication survey installation plans, and I-Plans installation plans.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in creating clear, concise, and accurate documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple documents, versions, and revisions effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with teams and conveying information clearly.
  • Familiarity with document management systems, software like Microsoft Office Suite, and relevant tools.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues related to documentation.
  • Professional demeanor and work ethic.
  • Understanding of DoW standards, best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with DoW documentation classification markings and handling of classified materials.
  • US Citizenship required.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a field like English, Communications, Information Technology, or Business Administration (desired).
  • Current Secret clearance (desired).
  • Experience with DoW eMass system for ATO applications (desired).

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $61,200 - $82,800. Salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements.
