About the role

SpinXpress is seeking a District Team Lead to oversee multiple store locations, drive operational consistency, and support the launch of new Fresh and Commercial divisions. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences, fostering a positive workplace culture, and shaping the growth of a forward‑thinking laundry brand.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple store locations, leading high‑performing teams.
• Ensure every customer interaction reflects SpinXpress’s commitment to quality and care.
• Manage daily operations while fostering a positive, consistent workplace culture.
• Drive excellence and operational consistency across all locations.
• Support the launch and growth of the new Fresh and Commercial divisions.
• Establish a workplace culture aligned with SpinXpress objectives, defining mission, vision, and values.
• Recruit, interview, select, hire, and develop managers and attendants.
• Focus on team development to enhance customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
• Monitor and predict operational patterns and conduct analysis.
• Create procedures complying with HR regulations specific to the Houston, TX district.
• Guide, support, and develop staff, including overseeing onboarding for new employees in the Houston district.
• Encourage staff ownership and accountability through consistent feedback.
• Lead employees to meet productivity, quality, and goal‑achievement expectations.
• Manage employee work schedules, training, call‑ins, and overtime hours.
• Implement and continuously refine processes and protocols to sustain operational excellence (quality, speed, efficiency, and output).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Previous experience in operations or related fields.
• Strong background in retail, hospitality, or food service.
• Demonstrated leadership and development abilities.
• Problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
• Knowledge of basic economics, budgeting, and accounting principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, including Excel.
• Ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the management team.
• Hands‑on leader who motivates teams and delivers results.
• Business‑savvy, customer‑focused, and energized by a fast‑paced environment.
• People‑oriented and proactive in shaping a growing brand.

Pay

Competitive base salary of $40,000 – $55,000 plus bonus.
