About the role

The Donovan’s Venom is a nonprofit organization that is currently in the process of scaling its operations. This role is a volunteer executive leadership position designed to help design, lead, and scale the organization's operations across various functions.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the organization’s operational strategy
  • Build scalable systems to support growth
  • Align operations with organizational goals
  • Oversee execution across programs, HR, technology, and operations
  • Ensure alignment and accountability across teams
  • Build and standardize operational workflows
  • Ensure processes are clear, efficient, and scalable
  • Eliminate inefficiencies and gaps
  • Establish metrics and tracking systems
  • Maintain clarity across functions
  • Identify and implement solutions to improve efficiency
  • Build a culture of accountability and execution
  • Facilitate structured communication across teams
  • Support decision-making with operational insight
  • Build systems for task tracking, workflow management, and organizational visibility
  • Identify opportunities to improve operations
  • Strengthen systems as the organization grows
  • Drive long-term operational excellence

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in operations, program management, or business/organizational leadership
  • Strong experience in process design, cross-functional coordination, and performance management
  • Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations preferred
  • Experience building or scaling organizations preferred
  • Experience in remote teams preferred

Qualifications

  • Executive-level engagement required
  • Participation in leadership meetings required
  • Fully remote
