About the role
The Donovan’s Venom is a growing nonprofit organization focused on delivering real impact through its programs and initiatives. We are seeking a Director of Programs to lead the strategy, structure, and execution of all programs within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead program strategy
- Ensure programs align with organizational goals
- Identify opportunities for new or expanded programs
- Oversee execution of all programs and initiatives
- Maintain consistency and quality across programs
- Define program success metrics
- Track and evaluate outcomes
- Ensure programs deliver measurable impact
- Create systems for planning, execution, and tracking
- Ensure scalability and efficiency
- Partner with operations, development, marketing, and leadership
- Lead program managers and coordinators
- Set expectations and structure workflows
- Drive accountability and performance
- Ensure proper resource allocation
- Provide updates on program performance
- Support leadership decision-making
- Identify and resolve program challenges
- Adjust strategy as needed
- Ensure continuity and success
- Expand successful programs
- Improve efficiency as programs grow
- Strengthen long-term program infrastructure
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in program management, operations, and organizational leadership
- Strong experience in program execution, cross-functional coordination, and performance tracking
- Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations preferred
- Experience designing or scaling programs preferred
