About the role

The Donovan’s Venom is a growing nonprofit organization focused on delivering real impact through its programs and initiatives. We are seeking a Director of Programs to lead the strategy, structure, and execution of all programs within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead program strategy
  • Ensure programs align with organizational goals
  • Identify opportunities for new or expanded programs
  • Oversee execution of all programs and initiatives
  • Maintain consistency and quality across programs
  • Define program success metrics
  • Track and evaluate outcomes
  • Ensure programs deliver measurable impact
  • Create systems for planning, execution, and tracking
  • Ensure scalability and efficiency
  • Partner with operations, development, marketing, and leadership
  • Lead program managers and coordinators
  • Set expectations and structure workflows
  • Drive accountability and performance
  • Ensure proper resource allocation
  • Provide updates on program performance
  • Support leadership decision-making
  • Identify and resolve program challenges
  • Adjust strategy as needed
  • Ensure continuity and success
  • Expand successful programs
  • Improve efficiency as programs grow
  • Strengthen long-term program infrastructure

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in program management, operations, and organizational leadership
  • Strong experience in program execution, cross-functional coordination, and performance tracking
  • Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations preferred
  • Experience designing or scaling programs preferred
