About the Role
Acts as the hemodialysis team leader, overseeing chronic hemodialysis care and supervising direct patient care staff. Communicates with healthcare team members to develop and adjust patient care plans, ensuring safe and compliant delivery of treatment.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily guidance, support, and performance feedback to staff; participate in staffing, hiring, and disciplinary decisions.
- Ensure adherence to facility policies and regulatory standards, and maintain a safe, efficient shift operation.
- Participate in patient care planning, assessments, and emergency situations; monitor patient conditions and administer medications per physician orders.
- Train, orient, and supervise staff, promoting compliance with OSHA and safety protocols.
- Oversee documentation, supervise equipment use, and assist with special projects or quality assurance activities.
- Perform physical and environmental tasks typical of healthcare settings, with travel between facilities.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program with current licensure.
- Minimum of 9 months nursing and 3 months dialysis experience; supervisory experience preferred.
- Completion of hemodialysis training.
- Must meet color vision requirements and adhere to safety protocols.
Skills

Reports to Clinical Manager and interacts with staff, physicians, and external partners.
