Role Overview
Responsible for managing the quality and safety of patient care in an independent home therapy program, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Provides leadership to interdisciplinary teams, overseeing program operations, staffing, and growth initiatives. Manages staff recruitment, training, performance, and fosters professional development. Ensures effective patient care from admission to discharge, including assessment, education, and coordination of home dialysis therapies. Maintains program quality standards, implements policies, and promotes a culture of safety. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders and participates in strategic planning and quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage program results, costs, operations, staffing, and growth.
- Lead, coach, and develop staff, ensuring compliance and performance.
- Oversee patient care, assessments, education, and therapy management.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, safety, and quality standards.
- Participate in strategic planning, process improvements, and project management.
- Handle staffing, training, and staff scheduling, fostering a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with current state license.
- Minimum one year of nursing experience, including six months in dialysis.
- Three (3) plus years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, customer service, and team-building skills.
- Competency in operating home therapy equipment and emergency procedures.
- CPR certification and ability to pass color blindness testing.
