About The Role
We have a part-time (32.5 hours) Day Services Support Worker vacancy at The Beeches based in Stroud. The Beeches is a Community Resource Centre for adults with learning disabilities within the Stroud District boundaries. People generally attend one to five days a week taking part in a range of social and creative activities. The Resource Centre at Cainscross is a purpose-built building where there are facilities to meet the needs of adults with severe learning disabilities as well as people with learning disabilities who wish to access the local community with support.

Responsibilities
- Support individuals with learning disabilities in a sensitive, flexible way, listening as well as communicating.
- Help individuals with personal care.
- Assist people in taking part in social and creative activities.
- Support individuals who wish to access the local community.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification.
- Hands-on experience working with people with learning disabilities.
- Commitment to enhancing the lives of people with a range of abilities.
- Confidence in providing personal care.
