Data Center Technician, ADC InfraOps DCO Tech

Key job responsibilities

• Work as part of the Operations team, maintaining and upkeeping data center infrastructure.
• Responsible for server rack installation, hardware break-fix on various components, troubleshooting network issues, rackdown recovery, and responding to emergent situations affecting operational stability.
• Primary contact point for both internal customers (Network Engineers, Systems Engineers, Software Developers, Database Engineers, Technical Operations) and external service partners (Hardware Vendors, Contractors, Service Providers among others).
• Execute small projects independently and work with manager in planning and executing larger local projects.
• Act as an escalation point for junior technicians.

Basic Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma, or A+ or CND (Certified Network Defender) or Network+ or Security+
• Current, active TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, or Data Center Operations experience
