Data Center Technician, ADC InfraOps DCO Tech
About the role
As a Data Center Technician, you are a primary resolver for your support team, and are skilled at troubleshooting one or more operating systems. You are able to troubleshoot and solve all but the most complex infrastructure issues. Issues are escalated to the appropriate resolver groups when necessary. You create and maintain documentation on technologies you support and are able to convey SOPs to junior staff. You understand all aspects of the equipment you support.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain documentation on technologies you support
- Convey SOPs to junior staff
- Solve all but the most complex infrastructure issues
- Escalate to appropriate resolver groups when necessary
- Execute small projects on your own and work with your manager in planning and executing larger local projects
- Act as an escalation point for junior technicians
- Understand all aspects of the equipment you support
Requirements
- High school or equivalent diploma, or A+ or CND (Certified Network Defender) or Network+ or Security+
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Network Engineering), or experience in professional or military IT-related roles
Skills
- Knowledge of hardware platforms
- Experience in computer networking

Pay
The starting pay for this position is listed below. Final starting pay will be based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
- USA, OH, New Albany - 33.00 - 58.00 USD hourly
Schedule
Position may include rotating shifts, 3, 4, or 5 day/night work weeks, and may change based on the needs of the business. Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
