About the role
The Culinary Lead at Sur La Table is responsible for leading the culinary team in providing exceptional customer service and cooking demonstrations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the culinary team in delivering high-quality customer service and cooking demonstrations
- Plan and execute cooking classes and demonstrations
- Train and mentor culinary staff to ensure consistent quality and customer satisfaction
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation protocols are followed
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall shopping experience
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role within a retail or hospitality setting
- Proven ability to manage a team and provide training
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
