About the role

The Culinary Lead at Sur La Table is responsible for leading the culinary team in providing exceptional customer service and preparing high-quality food items. This position requires a strong background in culinary arts and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the culinary team to ensure all food items are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Train and mentor new team members in culinary techniques and customer service.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and engaging atmosphere in the kitchen area.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional kitchen experience.
  • Experience in a leadership role preferred.
  • Valid Food Handlers Permit.
