About the role
The Culinary Lead at Sur La Table is responsible for leading the culinary team in providing exceptional customer service and preparing high-quality food items. This position requires a strong background in culinary arts and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the culinary team in executing daily food preparation tasks
- Ensure all food items meet quality standards and are prepared safely
- Train and mentor new team members in culinary techniques and customer service
- Collaborate with store management to develop and implement new menu items
- Manage inventory levels and ensure efficient use of resources
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional kitchen experience
- Experience leading a team of culinary staff
- Valid Food Handlers Permit

- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
