About the role
The Culinary Lead at Sur La Table is responsible for overseeing the culinary team, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the culinary team to ensure all food items are prepared to the highest standards.
- Train and mentor new culinary staff members.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with local suppliers and vendors.
- Collaborate with store management to enhance the overall customer experience.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven ability to manage a team effectively.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Food Handlers Card.
