About the role
As a Culinary Lead at Sur La Table, you will be responsible for leading the culinary team in providing exceptional customer service and cooking demonstrations to enhance the shopping experience.Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the culinary team to deliver high-quality customer service and cooking demonstrations.
- Plan and execute engaging cooking demonstrations that showcase products and inspire customers to cook at home.
- Train and develop culinary team members to ensure they are knowledgeable about products and can provide excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with store management to ensure smooth operations and meet sales targets.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a food service or retail environment.
- Experience in leading a team and training staff.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Passion for food and a desire to share this passion with others.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and other relevant software.
- Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions.
