About the role

As a Culinary Lead at Sur La Table, you will be responsible for leading the culinary team in providing exceptional customer service and cooking demonstrations to enhance the shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the culinary team to deliver high-quality customer service and cooking demonstrations.
  • Plan and execute engaging cooking demonstrations that showcase products and inspire customers to cook at home.
  • Train and develop culinary team members to ensure they are knowledgeable about products and can provide excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with store management to ensure smooth operations and meet sales targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a food service or retail environment.
  • Experience in leading a team and training staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Passion for food and a desire to share this passion with others.

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using POS systems and other relevant software.
  • Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions.

Pay

$15.00 per hour
