About the role

The Culinary Lead at Sur La Table is responsible for leading the culinary team in providing exceptional customer service and cooking demonstrations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the culinary team in delivering high-quality customer service and engaging cooking demonstrations.
  • Train and mentor culinary staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and execute seasonal and holiday-themed cooking classes and events.
  • Assist in managing inventory and ensuring food safety standards are met.
  • Collaborate with store management to promote the brand and drive sales.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and recipes.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
  • Passion for food and customer service.

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic computer skills including data entry and report generation.

Pay
