About the role
The Culinary Lead at Sur La Table is responsible for leading the culinary team in providing exceptional customer service and cooking demonstrations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the culinary team in delivering high-quality customer service and engaging cooking demonstrations.
- Train and mentor culinary staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Develop and execute seasonal and holiday-themed cooking classes and events.
- Assist in managing inventory and ensuring food safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with store management to promote the brand and drive sales.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and recipes.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
- Passion for food and customer service.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic computer skills including data entry and report generation.

Pay
