About the role
The Culinary Lead at Sur La Table is responsible for leading the culinary team in providing exceptional customer service and executing high-quality food preparation demonstrations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the culinary team in delivering engaging and informative food demonstrations to customers.
- Prepare and present a variety of dishes that showcase Sur La Table’s products.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Engage with customers to gather feedback and improve offerings.
- Support store operations by assisting with other tasks as needed.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a food service or demonstration setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid Food Handler Certification.
Qualifications
- Experience with a variety of cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Knowledge of Sur La Table’s products and brand values.
- Passion for food and customer service.
