About the role

The Culinary Lead at Sur La Table is responsible for leading the culinary team, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and train the culinary team to ensure consistent quality in food preparation and presentation.
  • Plan and execute daily menu offerings, ensuring they align with brand standards and customer preferences.
  • Manage inventory levels and food costs to optimize efficiency and profitability.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Contribute to the store's overall success by participating in special events and promotions.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with food safety regulations and practices.
  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods.

Skills
