About the role
The Culinary Lead at Sur La Table is responsible for leading the culinary team, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Lead and train the culinary team to ensure consistent quality in food preparation and presentation.
- Plan and execute daily menu offerings, ensuring they align with brand standards and customer preferences.
- Manage inventory levels and food costs to optimize efficiency and profitability.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Contribute to the store's overall success by participating in special events and promotions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with food safety regulations and practices.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
