About the role
The Culinary Lead at Sur La Table is responsible for leading the culinary team in providing exceptional customer service and cooking demonstrations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the culinary team in delivering high-quality customer service and engaging cooking demonstrations.
- Plan and execute weekly cooking demonstrations that align with seasonal trends and customer interests.
- Train and mentor culinary staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Collaborate with other departments to support store operations and events.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role within a retail environment.
- Experience in food preparation and presentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- College degree preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and food safety practices.
- Experience with social media marketing and customer engagement.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
