About the role
We are seeking dedicated Crisis Service Professionals to provide on‑call crisis response, risk assessments, and mobile support for individuals experiencing mental health emergencies in Adams & Juneau Counties.
Responsibilities
- Responding to crisis calls and conducting mobile crisis interventions
- Assessing risks and determining appropriate interventions
- Providing brief crisis counseling and follow-up services
- Meeting clients in various settings such as homes, hospitals, or community locations
- Responding to potential suicide or emergency situations
- Gathering information, assessing client needs, and connecting them with community resources
- Maintaining relationships with law enforcement, courts, and community partners
- Documenting client interactions in compliance with regulations
- Identifying service gaps and suggesting improvements
- Staying informed on laws, procedures, and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field
- At least one year of experience with mental health clients preferred
- Knowledge of community resources and legal statutes
- Strong crisis assessment, decision-making, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and professionally under pressure
- Effective relationship-building with diverse populations
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to respond within one hour
