Country Manager (US)
About the role
Fonio builds AI phone agents, plus WhatsApp, chat and email assistants, for small and medium-sized businesses. The company has 10,000+ customers and grew from $1M to $10M ARR in under 12 months, now expanding across Europe, Brazil and the US. The culture emphasizes ownership, direct feedback, few meetings and no politics — you run your area like it's your company. This role is based in New York, full-time, reporting to the CCO.
The US is the next big market. As Country Manager, you own the commercial P&L for the US, build the sales team, set the go-to-market strategy and turn Fonio into a market leader for SMBs across the country. Most of your time goes to sales; you also own marketing and demand generation for the US, so you need to be strong across both.
