About the role

The New York Corporate Practice is seeking a junior to mid-level associate (3–6 years of experience) to join a market-leading and wide-ranging corporate law team.

Responsibilities

  • Advising private equity sponsors, strategic buyers and sellers, and emerging growth companies in a broad range of domestic and cross-border transactions.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating acquisition and investment agreements and related transaction documents.
  • Managing due diligence processes.
  • Cooking with tax, benefits, IP, employment, real estate, and other specialist teams.
  • Interacting directly with clients.
  • Assisting with transaction execution, closings, and post-closing matters.

Requirements

  • Meaningful experience advising private equity sponsors, strategic buyers and sellers, and emerging growth companies in a broad range of domestic and cross-border transactions.
  • Strong analytical, drafting, and project management skills.
  • Able to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Law degree from an accredited law school.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay

The expected pay range for this position is $260,000 - $390,000. Salary will be determined based upon education, experience, job related factors permitted by law, internal equity, and market data, including geographic pay differentials in locations where market pay differs from the national average.

Schedule

Full-time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
