About the role

Reporting to the VP, Global Partnerships, the Account Coordinator will support the function of the overall Global Partnerships Team, including Sales, Strategy and Activation, in delivering world-class partnerships to our sponsors. The successful candidate will have an interest in customer service, experiential activation, marketing, hospitality, partner strategy and ideation, with a keen attention to detail and a “can-do,” collaborative approach. This role will include working across a variety of internal and external stakeholders, managing budgets, internal processes and both individual account and group support.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee individual sponsorship accounts as assigned. Includes supporting their partnership deliverables such as hospitality, panels, activations, special events, ticketing, budgets, reporting and overall partner success
  • Support account managers with larger accounts and special events
  • Support the team with ideation, process enhancements, premiere preparations, briefs, ticketing inventory, and marketing/media support and collaboration with other internal teams
  • Coordinate onsite exclusive experiences such as behind-the-scene visits, Q&A with cast and crew, as well as onsite activations
  • Act as gatekeeper of partner brand visibility on all Cirque du Soleil’s marketing campaigns and digital assets for relevant shows
  • Be a positive teammate who wants to jump in, contribute and learn

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related discipline. Sponsorship, Partnerships activation or Events background is a definite asset
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Sponsorship, Brand Activation and/or Marketing (agency or client)
  • Understanding of general partnership marketing principles and a mindset for strategic planning
  • Teamwork, proactivity and attention to detail
  • Self-directed and able to work independently with integrity
  • Effective organization and prioritization, with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing demands
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, able to work well with all levels of management
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in French and English, as well as relationship management skills
