About the role
The Coordinator, Label Operations at Atlantic Music Group plays a critical role in ensuring successful releases for artists. This position offers opportunities to work closely with various teams including A&R Operations, Marketing, Business Affairs, Creative, and Production.
Responsibilities
- Work with the marketing team to plan for upcoming releases, maintain the company-wide release schedule, and communicate updates to the company.
- Coordinate product set-up strategy and execution with production teams, considering release management systems and DSP requirements.
- Keep release status up to date by interfacing with key staff across AMG and WMG organizations.
- Ensure all release timelines are met and lead the charge if necessary.
- Provide timely communication regarding project status, resolve issues, and coordinate changes as needed.
- Think broadly about the music industry ecosystem and develop new release strategies to support artists.
- Act as a company-wide resource, anticipating and addressing potential issues proactively.
Requirements
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and solution-building.
- Detail-oriented, capable of assessing the accuracy and efficiency of release plans.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- Experience in project management and process-centric roles.
- Basic understanding of the music creative, production, and distribution processes.
- Digital supply chain experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 days per week in the office.
