Coordinator - Operations
About the Role
As a key member of the Operations Team, this critical and highly visible role involves analyzing and interpreting complex data, calibrating precise measurements, problem-solving, and communicating with the public. Your work will support Fortune 250 companies globally, helping to enable the connected world.
Responsibilities
- Supports the local operations team with coordinated efforts specific to the location.
- Coordinates, participates in, and manages documentation to support the team.
- Prepares reports as necessary.
- Assists with identifying potential bottlenecks in processes and works with the management team to resolve issues.
- Coordinates with carriers and local managers/supervisors to align employees and workflow to meet all customer commitments.
- Acts as team lead on small or special projects when the Supervisor is away.
- Manages multiple communication systems to ensure internal customer requests are accomplished.
- Manages daily order and task production in the warehouse management system.
- Prioritizes customer requests in the system.
- Ensures all 'must ship today' orders are processed according to shipping commitments domestically and internationally.
- Provides daily assistance and backup for picking, packing, and shipping functions.
- Maintains inventory documentation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Degree or Equivalent.
- 3+ years of order management experience within a warehouse or production environment.
- Demonstrated experience communicating professionally in written and verbal forms.
- 1 year of operational or administrative experience preferred.
- 1 year of understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems preferred.
- 1 year of customer service and inside sales experience preferred.
- 1 year of logistics and warehouse experience preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse management and order management systems.
- Ability to change priorities quickly, multi-task, and work at a fast pace.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Attention to detail.
Physical Demands
- Position is based inside a warehouse.
- Environment can reach up to 100 degrees in the summer; warehouse is climate-controlled and comfortable in the winter.
- Ability to lift throughout a shift, potentially up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to lift, bend, reach, push, pull, squat, and walk throughout a shift.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods (8+ hours per day).
- Ability to climb ladders.
- Uses heavy machinery (e.g., forklift).
- Position requires sitting for portions of the day.

Pay
$18.55 - $23.18 per hour. This amount may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.
