Coordinator-Field Services Operations
About the role
The Coordinator-Field Services Operations position is a multi-faceted role responsible for coordinating and completing Field Service operational responsibilities for assigned markets. This includes inventory management, monitoring market inventory levels, managing the movement of inventory, issuing equipment/supplies, maintaining inventory levels, ordering and processing orders, receiving shipments, tracking shipments, leading inventory reconciliation, and supporting local market teams and Field Service Managers.
Responsibilities
- Inventory management for assigned market(s)
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels using related systems/applications
- Order and process orders for inventory and materials needed for market operations
- Manage vendor communications and tasks across internal teams and external contractors
- Coordinate vendor meetings
- Assist the workforce management team with dispatching assignments
- Process invoices to Accounts Payable
- Assign and maintain logs for test equipment and tools
- Order and cancel facilities access keys
- Return equipment
- Maintain repair and vehicle logs
- Update contact lists
- May perform office safety checks in certain markets (e.g., AED Check, First Aid Kit, fire extinguisher inventory and safety assurance checks)
- Document, track, and submit information needed for manual bills in assigned territory
- Aid in customer and vendor escalations
Requirements
- Associates degree (or higher) OR 2+ years professional work experience
- 2+ years administrative support with internal and external customer experience OR current military service, or prior military service with honorable discharge
- Valid driver's license
- Follow TDS attendance guidelines
Qualifications
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and take on increasing responsibilities as they evolve over time
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products, preferably to include Excel and Word
- Understanding of telecommunications industry and telecom products and services is preferred
- Adaptability to rapid changes
- Problem-solving skills (e.g., customer complaints, troubleshooting)
- Ability to be certified to operate a forklift
