Cook, Skilled Nursing Facility
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Cook to join our team at North Beach Rehabilitation Center, a leading provider of skilled nursing and rehabilitation care in North Miami Beach, Florida. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, well-being, and satisfaction of our residents by preparing delicious and nutritious meals that cater to their individual dietary needs.
Pay
$17.00/hour
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals, snacks, and beverages for residents and staff, adhering to standard recipes and food safety guidelines
- Manage kitchen operations, including food storage, inventory control, and equipment maintenance
- Supervise and support kitchen staff, including cooks, dietary aides, and food service workers
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to facility policies and procedures
- Monitor and control food costs, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste
- Collaborate with dietary team to plan menus, order supplies, and resolve food service issues
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a Level 2 background screening via the Florida Clearinghouse

Our 99-bed facility is conveniently located just south of Aventura, with easy access to three local hospitals. We strive to create a home-like environment, with beautifully decorated suites, private phones and TVs, and a tropical courtyard for relaxation.
Schedule
As a Per Diem employee, you will have the flexibility to choose your schedule, working on an as-needed basis. Our supportive team environment encourages collaboration, creativity, and professional growth.
