Responsibilities

• Inspect special diet trays to ensure correct diet is served to residents.
• Complete necessary forms, reports, and submit to the Director of Food Services.
• Cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
• Prepare meals according to planned menus and standard recipes.
• Ensure adherence to food policies and procedures.
• Work with the dietitian to implement recommended changes.
• Prepare food for therapeutic diets as per planned menus.
• Follow oral and written instructions from supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in food service areas.
• Seek out and incorporate new methods into existing food practices.
