Control Services Coordinator
About the role
Control Solutions Group, Inc. seeks a Control Services Coordinator to assist in a broad array of activities related to the management of Building Management Systems. The individual must have a positive attitude, and be a self-starter willing to take initiative, and wear several hats as part of a cooperative team.
Responsibilities
- Receive phone requests from customers for service/maintenance work and price quotes
- Dispatch all service technicians
- Review technician work orders for contract compliance and additional work
- Assist Safety Manager and ensure field personnel have proper safety equipment
- Order warehouse parts and maximize profits by searching for best price on materials
- Accounts Receivable - monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone, email and mail; perform account reconciliations; maintain accounts receivable files and records, produce monthly reports, investigate and resolve customer irregularities and disputes
- Generate customer invoices
- Set up and renewal of contracts
- Contracts review and mark-up
- Send out warranty expiration notifications/solicitations for contracts
- Assist Managers with all other duties as required
Requirements
- College graduate or minimum three years' experience in HVAC, Controls or Construction Company
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Excellent organization skills
- Customer service oriented
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with controls, BMS, BAS, DDC, Building Automation, Building Management, EPMS or Energy Management Systems is a plus
Work Environment
We are looking for a Controls Service Coordinator who works well in a team environment and is also able to work independently with minimal supervision. Our Controls Service coordinator must be self-motivated and have superior decision making, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. They must also be skilled at planning, scheduling, and meeting deadlines. Our service coordinator positions require excellent customer service and client relations skills. Regularly required to lift and move up to 25 pounds.

Pay
New York, New York Compensation Range: $70,000 - $90,000, depending on experience
