About the role
Electrical Equipment Company (EECO) is a full‑line electrical distributor specializing in industrial automation and power solutions that reduce costs, increase reliability, and improve performance. The Services Coordinator is responsible for accurately and efficiently entering, updating, and maintaining repair order data within the company’s service management or ERP system, and serves as the point of contact for all repairs and warranty needs. This role ensures repair records are complete, correctly coded, and processed in a timely manner to support customer service, billing, and inventory teams.
Responsibilities
- Enter new repair/service requests into the system accurately and promptly upon receipt.
- Verify customer, equipment, warranty, and parts information for completeness and accuracy before entry.
- Assign appropriate repair codes and priority levels according to company standards.
- Track repair order status and update records as work progresses (e.g., New Quote, Open/Working, invoice, completed).
- Coordinate with vendors and customers to resolve discrepancies.
- Process repair‑related paperwork, including estimates, invoices, and warranty claims.
- Maintain organized digital filing of repair documentation.
- Identify and flag data entry errors or inconsistencies for correction.
- Generate basic reports on repair volume, turnaround time, or backlog as requested.
- Support compliance with internal quality standards and, where applicable, manufacturer or regulatory documentation requirements.
- Own the repair lifecycle from beginning to end.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy under time pressure.
- Proficiency with data entry systems, ERP/CRM software, or industry‑specific service management platforms (e.g., CDK, Tekmetric, ServiceTitan, SAP).
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Office or Google Workspace.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize a queue of incoming work orders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the electrical/automation repair domain.
- Prior experience in data entry, administrative support, or service/repair coordination.
- Experience with warranty claim processing or parts inventory systems.
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Primarily office or administrative desk setting; may be located within or adjacent to loud environments.
- Prolonged periods of computer use.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lb. occasionally.
- Hybrid position available after training period.
Pay
$21.00 – $28.00 per hour
