About The Job

Our client is one of the nation's leading construction law firm and is seeking an attorney with 5 to 9 years of experience in construction or as a district attorney, prosecutor or corporation counsel with an interest in construction for the firm's New York City or New Jersey office. Candidates must be admitted to practice, have a J.D. from an ABA accredited law school with strong academic credentials, possess strong research, writing and oral advocacy skills. Ideally, candidates will have experience in construction litigation, construction contract drafting and negotiating, alternative dispute resolution and providing risk management counseling.

Qualifications

  • 5+ Years of Experience in Construction Law
  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) required
  • NY or NJ Bar Admission
  • Excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and e-discovery platforms
  • Strong work ethic and client service focus

Pay

Salary Range: $120,000 to $180,000 (commensurate with qualifications)
