Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance and on-site training for team members.
  • Aid Field Supervisor in evaluating skills and creating development plans for each technician.
  • Exhibit superior customer relations skills.
  • Maintain a clean vehicle and proper uniform.
  • Take and complete the Star Certification Test.
  • Train technicians in customer communication.
  • Respond to after-hours and emergency service calls when primary technician is unavailable.
  • Act proactively to address warranty or credit issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Complete all quoted work within allotted time.
  • Attend or teach union training courses for continued education.
  • Be the technical “go-to” for the Team Dispatcher in the Field Supervisor's absence.
  • Provide technical information to the sales and quoting department.
  • Qualifications

    • Extensive HVAC field knowledge with at least 10 years of service field experience.
    • Extensive safety knowledge and training with at least 10 years of field experience.
    • Effective oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong computer skills are a plus.
    • Ability to organize and plan daily responsibilities effectively.

    Pay

    The hourly rate is determined by the CBA/rate sheet and test results. Benefits are provided through local labor unions aligned with collective bargaining agreements.
