HVAC Commercial and Industrial Foreman

About the role

The Foreman will coordinate and oversee manpower and materials at assigned Commercial HVAC jobsites (including plumbing) and serve as the primary point of contact for customers.

Responsibilities

• Studies building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required and sequence of installations.
• Utilizes appropriate paperwork to order necessary materials and supplies ahead of time and coordinates delivery with appropriate personnel or 3rd party vendors to the jobsite.
• Contracts and coordinates subcontractors.
• Inventory control.
• Ensures regular communication with Project Manager or other staff.
• Maintains quality of work, proper workmanship, installation, and timeliness.
• Oversees and promotes safety awareness among all employees, subcontractors, and vendors on the jobsite at all times, in all work environments.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of construction trade(s) and advanced knowledge of employment trade required.
• Completion of apprenticeship program preferred. Should be licensed.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time position with flexible scheduling to accommodate project needs.
