HVAC Foreman - Commercial HVAC Construction

About the role

Comfort Systems USA MidAtlantic, LLC, a leading mechanical contracting company located in South Boston, VA, is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Foreman to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Understand project schedules, milestones, submittals, and contract documents.
• Cookordinate with other trades for HVAC/piping installations within project scope and schedule.
• Manage project crews for the installation of various HVAC and Duct Systems.
• Ensure the safe performance of personnel and equipment.
• Implement and enforce the company tool policy.
• Complete necessary paperwork, daily reports, accident reports, and disciplinary reports.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience as a mechanical foreman on commercial HVAC construction projects.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Master or Journeyman HVAC Tradesman Certification (preferred but not required).
• Experience with RTU, air handlers, split systems, chilled water or boiler systems (preferred).
• OSHA 30-Hour certification (preferred).
• Positive, cooperative, and teachable attitude.
• Mechanical aptitude, mathematical, and English language skills.
• Experience overseeing job site personnel - journeyman and apprentice/helpers.
• Compliance with and promotion of company Safety Policy.
