About the role
Comfort Systems USA MidAtlantic, LLC, a leading mechanical contracting company located in South Boston, VA, is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Foreman to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Understand project schedules, milestones, submittals, and contract documents.
- Cookordinate with other trades for HVAC/piping installations within project scope and schedule.
- Manage project crews for the installation of various HVAC and Duct Systems.
- Ensure the safe performance of personnel and equipment.
- Implement and enforce the company tool policy.
- Complete necessary paperwork, daily reports, accident reports, and disciplinary reports.
Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience as a mechanical foreman on commercial HVAC construction projects.
- EPA Universal Certification.
- Master or Journeyman HVAC Tradesman Certification (preferred but not required).
- Experience with RTU, air handlers, split systems, chilled water or boiler systems (preferred).
- OSHA 30-Hour certification (preferred).
- Positive, cooperative, and teachable attitude.
- Mechanical aptitude, mathematical, and English language skills.
- Experience overseeing job site personnel - journeyman and apprentice/helpers.
- Compliance with and promotion of company Safety Policy.
