About the role
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for home care services, primarily working on weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in clients’ homes
- Assist with personal hygiene, transfers, ambulation, and prescribed exercises under supervision
- Administer basic nursing care
- Prepare meals considering dietary needs
- Offer companionship and perform light housekeeping
- Ensure accurate documentation of care activities and client condition changes
- Adhere to the Plan of Care and maintain confidentiality
- Report concerns or changes and demonstrate dependability and flexibility
Qualifications
- Maintain active CNA certification
- Effective communication skills
- Physical ability to perform lifting and mobility tasks
- Compassionate attitude towards patient care
Equipment used
- Blood pressure cuffs
- Stethoscopes
Physical demands
- Lifting approximately 50 lbs
- Travel within designated areas
