About the role

Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) providing home care services in patients' residences.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care, including personal hygiene, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation assistance.
  • Administer basic nursing care and prescribed exercises under supervision.
  • Prepare meals considering client preferences and dietary needs.
  • Offer companionship and engage clients in suitable activities.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate records, report changes in patient condition, and follow the care plan.
  • Use EVV app and time sheets for task documentation.
  • Ensure confidentiality, privacy, and uphold patients' rights.
  • Report any abuse, neglect, or unsafe environments immediately.
  • Assist clients in promoting independence within their capabilities.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Maintain valid certification with DFS.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Effective communication skills, including reading, writing, and following directions.
  • Physical ability to lift approximately 50 lbs, bend, stand, and perform necessary tasks.
  • Compassionate attitude toward sick individuals.
