CNA - Weekend Morning Shift

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and basic nursing tasks as instructed by healthcare professionals.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Prepare meals aligning with client preferences and dietary needs.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in activities suited to their interests.
• Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain accurate records of care provided.
• Report changes in the client’s condition and follow the care plan strictly, excluding medication administration.
• Utilize EVV systems for task documentation and adhere to confidentiality and privacy standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Maintain current certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication skills, ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
• Physical ability to lift approximately 50 lbs, bend, and stand for periods.
• Compassionate attitude towards patient care and sensitivity to client and family values.

Key Duties & Requirements

• Provide care within the client’s residence, adapting to varying environments.
• Participate in team efforts to deliver high-quality healthcare.
• Report any concerns regarding abuse, neglect, or safety immediately.
• Travel within designated areas may be required; no guaranteed hours or assignment length.
