CNA - Weekend Morning Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and basic nursing tasks as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and dietary needs.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in activities tailored to their interests.
• Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain accurate records of care provided.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' physical or psychosocial conditions.
• Follow the care plan strictly, ensuring confidentiality, privacy, and patient rights are upheld.
• Use necessary equipment such as blood pressure cuffs and stethoscopes, and complete documentation via EVV app.

Qualifications & Skills

• Maintain current certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication skills, including reading, writing, and following instructions.
• Physical ability to perform tasks like lifting, bending, and standing.
• Sympathetic attitude toward patient care.

Additional Details

• Physically able to lift approximately 50 lbs.
• Travel within designated area required.
• Dependability and punctuality are essential.
• Adherence to all policies, procedures, and care plans is mandatory.
