Clinical Operations Strategy Lead

About the Role

The Clinical Operations Strategy Lead designs and implements initiatives that optimize clinical operations and enhance care delivery across aligned area(s) or the organization. This role works on problems of diverse scope and complexity, ranging from moderate to substantial, and reports to the National President, MSO Operations as part of the Operations leadership team.

The Clinical Operations Strategy Lead identifies strategic improvement opportunities, establishes operational priorities, and develops standardized processes and practices to support clinical operational effectiveness. This role aligns operational processes with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices to ensure efficiency, quality, and sustainability in operations and service. The position advises executives on developing functional strategies and exercises independent judgment on complex issues, working under minimal supervision.

Travel in and around the Kentucky market is required.

Responsibilities

• Translate analytics into action and use data to impact and influence business outcomes.
• Deliver presentations to all levels of leadership.
• Develop and implement initiatives to optimize clinical operations and enhance care delivery.
• Identify strategic improvement opportunities and establish operational priorities.
• Develop standardized processes and practices to support clinical operational effectiveness.
• Align operational processes with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Advise executives on functional strategies for operational matters of significance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 8 or more years of technical experience.
• Prior experience delivering presentations to all levels of leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to translate analytics into actionable insights to influence business outcomes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including the ability to write queries, create forms, reports, presentations, and documents in Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel.
• Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management or Six Sigma certification.
• 2 or more years of project leadership experience.

Additional Information

This role has the following work-at-home requirements:

• Self-provided internet service must meet minimum criteria: at least 25 Mbps download speed and 10 Mbps upload speed; wireless, wired cable, or DSL connection is suggested.
• Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.
• Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Scheduled weekly hours: 40.

Pay

The pay range for this full-time (40 hours per week) position is $104,000 - $143,000 per year. The range may be higher or lower based on geographic location, and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications. This role is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
