About the role
The Clinical Operations Strategy Lead designs and implements initiatives that optimize clinical operations and enhance care delivery across aligned area(s) or the organization. This role works on problems of diverse scope and complexity, reporting to the National President of MSO Operations and serving as part of the Operations leadership team.
Key responsibilities include identifying strategic improvement opportunities, establishing operational priorities, and developing standardized processes to support clinical operational effectiveness. The role aligns operational processes with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices to ensure efficiency, quality, and sustainability. This position advises executives on functional strategies and exercises independent judgment on complex issues with minimal supervision.
This role requires travel in and around the Kentucky market.
Responsibilities
- Identify strategic improvement opportunities in clinical operations
- Establish operational priorities and develop standardized processes
- Align operational processes with organizational goals and regulatory requirements
- Advise executives on functional strategies for operational effectiveness
- Translate analytics into actionable insights to influence business outcomes
- Deliver presentations to leadership at all levels
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 8 or more years of technical experience
- Experience delivering presentations to all levels of leadership
- Demonstrated ability to translate analytics into action and influence business outcomes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel), including writing queries, creating forms, reports, and documents
- Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management or Six Sigma certification
- 2 or more years of project leadership experience
Work Arrangement
This is a remote position with the following requirements:
- Self-provided internet service with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps (wireless, wired cable, or DSL connection suggested)
- Work from a dedicated space free of ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
- Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required
Scheduled weekly hours: 40
Pay
The pay range for this full-time (40 hours per week) position is $104,000 - $143,000 per year. The range may vary based on geographic location, and individual pay will depend on demonstrated job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications. This role is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
