About the role

The Clinical Operations Strategy Lead designs and implements initiatives that optimize clinical operations and enhance care delivery across aligned area(s) or the organization. This role works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial, reporting to the National President, MSO Operations, and serving as part of the Operations leadership team.

The Clinical Operations Strategy Lead identifies strategic improvement opportunities, establishes operational priorities, and develops standardized processes and practices to support clinical operational effectiveness. This role aligns operational processes with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices to ensure efficiency, quality, and sustainability in operations and service. Advises executives on functional strategies, exercises independent judgment on complex issues, and works under minimal supervision.

Travel in and around the Kentucky market is required.

Responsibilities

  • Translate analytics into action and use data to impact and influence business outcomes.
  • Deliver presentations to all levels of leadership.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize clinical operations.
  • Establish operational priorities and standardized processes.
  • Align operational processes with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 8 or more years of technical experience.
  • Prior experience delivering presentations to all levels of leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate analytics into actionable business outcomes.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel), including writing queries, creating forms, reports, and documents.
  • Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management or Six Sigma certification.
  • 2 or more years of project leadership experience.

Additional Information

Work at Home Requirements: To ensure effective remote work, self-provided internet service must meet the following criteria: minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps (wireless, wired cable, or DSL connection suggested). Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work must be conducted from a dedicated space free of ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.

While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Scheduled weekly hours: 40.

Pay

The pay range for this full-time (40 hours per week) position is $104,000 - $143,000 per year. The range reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay at the time of posting and may vary based on geographic location. Individual pay will be determined by demonstrated job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications. This role is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
