Clinical Nurse Med/Surg
About the Role
Provides direct patient care on a 43-bed Med/Surg unit, promoting patient and family-centered care. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care in collaboration with the healthcare team. Ensures effective communication of care plans, educates patients and families on managing their health, and participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities. Utilizes critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations. Maintains safety and alertness as a safety-sensitive position.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree
- Active RN licensure
- No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years of experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
