About the role

Provides direct patient care in a 16-bed Medical, Med Surg/Ortho unit, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment needs, and medication administration.
• Participate in activities ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
• Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications: Active RN license.
• Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
