Clinical Nurse Med Surg

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in a 16-bed Med Surg/Ortho unit, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care by educating on illness management, post-treatment needs, and medication administration. Participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized care plans that address physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, culture, and preferences. Utilizes critical nursing skills to ensure comprehensive care and safety. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.Skills: Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking abilities; ability to work safely and alertly in a safety-sensitive position.
