About the role
Join a 43-bed Med/Surg unit as a Registered Nurse, providing direct patient care in a full-time night shift role.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with established standards.
- Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
- Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and engage in ongoing professional development.
- Develop and document personalized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team and patients to ensure effective communication and continuity of care.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing; RN licensure required.
- No prior experience necessary; preferred candidates may have a Bachelor's degree and two years of experience.
- This role is safety-sensitive, requiring alertness and safe work practices.
