About the role
The Clinical Coordinator (CC)/Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) plays a crucial role in the coordination of clinical activities within a Wound Care Center. This position collaborates closely with the Program Director and Medical Director to ensure optimal healing outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provides case management to a group of patients, conducting specific assessments according to protocols and procedures.
- Ensures clinical competence in procedural skills, treatments, and patient/caregiver education related to wound care management.
- Organizes and prioritizes clinical responsibilities, providing clinical oversight to clinical staff.
- Collaborates with other healthcare providers and key hospital personnel to address clinical and patient needs.
- Identifies and implements process improvements, adhering to regulatory standards and Healogics policies.
- Engages in staff development, offering both general and individualized training and support.
- Coordinates vein clinic services if applicable, and assists in providing care as needed after completing Healogics Vein Clinic training.
- Works with Program Director and Medical Director to meet Wound Care Center quality indicators.
- Performs documentation assistant duties and may act as a chamber operator or emergency chamber operator after completing Healogics hyperbaric safety director training.
- Supports patient care based on Center staffing needs, performing other duties as required.
Requirements
Required Education, Experience and Credentials:
- Current RN license – to maintain throughout employment.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum required, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- One year experience as an RN required, with two (2) or more years’ experience preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Wound care certification preferred.
- Current BLS required.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.

- Change management and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point).

The salary for this position generally ranges between $78,900.00 - $106,300.00 Annually. This range is an estimate based on potential employee qualifications, including education, experience, geography, and operational needs.
