About the role

The Clinical Coordinator (CC)/Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) plays a crucial role in the coordination of clinical activities within a Wound Care Center. This position collaborates closely with the Program Director and Medical Director to ensure optimal healing outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Provides case management to a group of patients, conducting specific assessments according to protocols and procedures.
  • Ensures clinical competence in procedural skills, treatments, and patient/caregiver education related to wound care management.
  • Organizes and prioritizes clinical responsibilities, providing clinical oversight to clinical staff.
  • Collaborates with other healthcare providers and key hospital personnel to address clinical and patient needs.
  • Identifies and implements process improvements, adhering to regulatory standards and Healogics policies.
  • Engages in staff development, offering both general and individualized training and support.
  • Coordinates vein clinic services if applicable, and assists in providing care as needed after completing Healogics Vein Clinic training.
  • Works with Program Director and Medical Director to meet Wound Care Center quality indicators.
  • Performs documentation assistant duties and may act as a chamber operator or emergency chamber operator after completing Healogics hyperbaric safety director training.
  • Supports patient care based on Center staffing needs, performing other duties as required.

Requirements

Required Education, Experience and Credentials:

  • Current RN license – to maintain throughout employment.
  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum required, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • One year experience as an RN required, with two (2) or more years’ experience preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Wound care certification preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Current BLS required.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.

  • Change management and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point).
Physical Demands:
  • Stationary position for extended periods.
  • Extended viewing of computer screen.
  • Frequent keying on a computer.
  • Movement about, close, distance, and peripheral vision.
  • Reading, communicating, writing, lifting up to 20 pounds, pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, grasping, touching with hands.
Work Environment:
  • Normal office environment.
  • Primarily indoors environment.
  • Primarily patient care environment.
  • Exposure to hazards (bloodborne pathogens, toxic chemicals, flammable gases, etc.).
  • Exposure to mechanical equipment.
  • Proximity to moving objects.
Salary Range:

The salary for this position generally ranges between $78,900.00 - $106,300.00 Annually. This range is an estimate based on potential employee qualifications, including education, experience, geography, and operational needs.
