About the role
The Clinical Coordinator (CC)/Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) plays a crucial role in the coordination of clinical activities within a Wound Care Center. This position involves patient care assessment, planning, and implementation, as well as collaborating with various healthcare providers to ensure optimal healing outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provides case management to a group of patients, conducting specific assessments according to protocols and procedures.
- Ensures clinical competence in procedural skills, treatments, and patient/caregiver education related to wound care management.
- Organizes and prioritizes clinical responsibilities, overseeing clinical staff including RNs, LPNs/LVNs, CMAs, etc.
- Collaborates with other health care providers, hospital personnel, Wound Care Center Providers, Program Director, and Medical Director to address clinical and patient needs.
- Identifies and implements process improvements while adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Engages in staff development, offering both general and individualized training and orientation.
- Recognizes staff through positive reinforcement and constructive feedback.
- Collaborates with the Program Director to align program objectives, considering budgetary and financial aspects.
- Works alongside the Program Director and Medical Director to meet Wound Care Center quality indicators.
- Adapts to Center staffing needs to perform patient care duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Current RN license required.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum requirement; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- One year of RN experience required; two or more years preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Wound care certification preferred.

Benefits
Healogics offers competitive compensation, with a salary range generally between $83,000.00 - $111,900.00 annually. For internal candidates, applications can be submitted via the “Jobs Hub” in Workday.
