About the role
The Clinical Coordinator (CC)/Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) plays a crucial role in the coordination of clinical activities within a Wound Care Center. This position collaborates with the Program Director and Medical Director to ensure optimal healing outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provides case management to a group of patients, conducting specific assessments according to protocols and procedures.
- Ensures clinical competence in procedural skills, treatments, and patient/caregiver education related to wound care management.
- Organizes and prioritizes clinical responsibilities, overseeing clinical staff including RNs, LPNs/LVNs, CMAs, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Technicians.
- Collaborates with other healthcare providers, hospital personnel, and Wound Care Center providers to address clinical and patient needs.
- Identifies and implements process improvements, adhering to regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, DOH, and Healogics policies.
- Engages in staff development, offering both general and individualized training and orientation.
- Provides staff recognition through positive reinforcement and constructive feedback.
- Coordinates Vein Care services if applicable, assisting in providing care after Healogics Vein Clinic training.
- Works with Program Director and Medical Director to meet Wound Care Center quality indicators.
- Performs documentation assistance and may act as a chamber operator or emergency chamber operator following required training.
- Adheres to Center staffing needs and performs other duties as required.
Requirements
- Current RN license required.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum requirement, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- One year of RN experience required, with two years preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Wound care certification preferred.

Healogics offers a competitive compensation package, with a salary range generally between $69,900 - $113,800 per year. For internal candidates, the salary range is estimated at $70,600.00 - $95,100.00 annually.
