About the role
The Clinical Coordinator (CC)/Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) plays a crucial role in the coordination of clinical activities within a Wound Care Center. This position collaborates closely with the Program Director and Medical Director to ensure optimal healing outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provides case management to a group of patients, conducting specific assessments according to protocols and procedures.
- Organizes and prioritizes clinical responsibilities, overseeing clinical staff including RNs, LPNs/LVNs, CMAs, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Technicians.
- Collaborates with other healthcare providers, hospital personnel, and Wound Care Center Providers to address clinical and patient needs.
- Identifies and implements process improvements, adhering to regulatory standards and Healogics policies.
- Engages in staff development, offering both general and individualized training and support.
- Ensures compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Department of Health (DOH), and hospital requirements.
- If the center offers Vein Care services, coordinates the Vein Clinic and assists with patient care.
- Works with the Program Director and Medical Director to meet Wound Care Center quality indicators.
- Performs documentation as a scribe and may act as a chamber operator or emergency chamber operator after completing required training.
- Supports patient care based on Center staffing needs and performs other duties as required.
Requirements
- Current RN license required.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum requirement, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- One year of RN experience required, with two years preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Wound care certification preferred.

Benefits
Healogics offers competitive compensation, with a salary range generally between $78,900.00 - $106,300.00 annually. The exact salary may vary based on qualifications, experience, and operational needs.
