Clinical Nurse Manager - CNM - BSN Required

About the role

The Clinical Coordinator (CC)/Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) plays a crucial role in managing wound care centers, ensuring optimal healing outcomes and patient satisfaction. This position collaborates closely with the Program Director and Medical Director to meet center objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provides case management to a group of patients, conducting assessments according to protocols and procedures.
• Organizes and prioritizes clinical responsibilities, overseeing clinical staff including RNs, LPNs/LVNs, CMAs, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Technicians.
• Collaborates with other healthcare providers and hospital personnel to address clinical and patient needs.
• Identifies and implements process improvements, adhering to regulatory standards and Healogics policies.
• Engages in staff development, offering both general and individualized training and support.
• Coordinates with the Program Director to align with program objectives, including budgeting and financial management.
• If the center offers Vein Care services, coordinates the Vein Clinic and assists with patient care.
• Collaborates with the Program Director and Medical Director to achieve wound care center quality indicators.
• Performs documentation as a scribe and may act as a chamber operator or emergency chamber operator after completing relevant training.
• Manages patient care based on center staffing needs, performing other duties as required.

Requirements

• Current RN license required.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum requirement, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• One year of RN experience required, with two years preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Wound care certification preferred.

• Physical demands include being stationary for extended periods, viewing computer screens for extended periods, frequent keyboarding, moving around, close, distance, and peripheral vision, reading, communicating, writing, lifting up to 20 pounds, pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, grasping, and touching with hands.
• Work environment includes normal office and patient care settings, exposure to hazards like bloodborne pathogens, toxic chemicals, and mechanical equipment, proximity to moving objects.

Benefits

Salary range for this position generally ranges between $78,900.00 - $106,300.00 annually. This range is based on potential employee qualifications, including education, experience, geography, and operational needs.

Schedule

Normal office hours, primarily indoors, with occasional travel.
